Coming Events According to the official programme of events for men’s golf, there are a couple of events coming up that may require some thought now in constituting your teams. The first event is the 18 hole Texas Scramble, a four man teams event scheduled for Saturday 11th March, sponsored by O’Donohue Hanna & Associates. A 18 hole singles Stableford will be held in conjunction with the Scramble. Following that event on the 18th March the annual Men’s 18 Hole Irish 4 Ball , a four man teams competition, on this occasion sponsored by McMullan Contracting. Both of those events will be preceded by the March Monthly Mug on 4th March, sponsored by A. Fletcher & Association.
Clubhouse News The Neil Hayward inspired tipping competition is scheduled to commence shortly, however the competition still requires six more starters for the series to be sustainable. The cost of participating is $50 per entry, and must be paid at least one week prior to the commencement of the NRL competition. This competition has been part of the Grafton Golf Club’s social activities for many years and it would be disappointing to see it lapse for the want of a handful of starters.
